Disparities are driven by factors including geographic location, socioeconomic status, language barriers and lack of access to healthcare.
These inequalities are often compounded for individuals who belong to multiple underserved groups, such as low-income individuals with limited language fluency, making them more vulnerable to delayed or inadequate care.
